Overview and Product Criteria
The Palmetto Approved Vendor List (AVL) is comprised of all available & approved equipment for use with Palmetto Comfort Plans.
It is the responsibility of Certified Installers to adhere to the Palmetto AVL.
AVL Equipment Categories are comprised of:
AVL-approved heating and cooling equipment
Relevant supporting equipment/accessories for core heating and cooling equipment
For the avoidance of doubt, installations which do not adhere to the AVL, or fall outside of these categories, will not be approved or funded by Palmetto.
Product Criteria: All equipment used must have at minimum a 10 year manufacturers warranty. If the system AHRI number doesn't match, it will be an auto-rejection.
Minimum Efficiency Requirements:
13.4 seer2 for AC and Heat Pump
6.7 HSPF for Heat Pumps
80% AFUE for Gas Furnaces
No oil furnaces
Financing is not permitted for single-piece equipment, full systems ONLY:
*Example: Replacing a condenser and leaving the split heads, etc.
No required specific Thermostat or Diagnostics Platforms
All equipment must include a 10-year warranty, an AHRI number is required at Install Package submission.
